A friend and I stayed in a ground level apartment, which was amazing. Stepped outside and the view took my breath away. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards as one arrives, the property myst provide one of the most stunning views of San Gimignano on the horizon with its many towers reaching for the heavens. Would return in a heartbeat any time of year.

Room Tip: If you have issues with stairs, book one of the ground level apartments.

Dear technosavvy,
thank you so much for the great comment that you wrote about Poggiacolle farm.
You describe our surrounding like a picture of the typical Tuscan countryside. From your description of our San Gimignano towers view, it seems like it will be always in your dreams.
We are really happy that the time spent in Poggiacolle left you so good memories.
I want to thank you again for the time you spent writing this beautiful comment and I hope to welcome you again very soon to San Gimignano and Poggiacolle farm.
Best regards,
Ciao! Stefano.

Our group of six rented three rooms that offered a very large shared kitchen/meeting area. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, spacious, and had so much character. The grounds were beautifully maintained and we enjoyed walking in the vineyards, lounging around the pool area, and exploring the olive groves. Nice assortment of items in the breakfast buffet, and the hospitality/welcoming staff made our stay special. Good location for exploring San Gimignano and other beautiful towns. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast/agriturismo and their wine! Amazing landscape. If you get tired of the view, turn your chair.

Stefano is a warm and gracious host. The property is close to San Gimignano, but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. It's not a fancy place, but it is just what we wanted - comfort and hospitality.

We took the train from Rome and rented a car in Florence. Found the agriturismo without difficulty. It is close to the very touristy town of San Gimigagno but what a difference. As soon as you get on the property you can relax. It is quiet and feels isolated, but it is so convenient to get to other destinations in the region. Our room was comfortable and clean. The grounds are well kept and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The view of San Gimigagno is postcard quality beautiful. Our buffet breakfast was more than ample with local cheese and meat, fresh fruit, cereal and great coffee.
Stefano is a wonderful host. He can answer any questions about area history, restaurant recommendations and touring suggestions. We stayed five nights and could have enjoyed a couple more.

My wife and I and another couple, friends of ours, had a great stay here. We were warmly received by Stefano who also gave us some great tips on restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the accommodations, including the swimming pool, and what an amazing view of San Gimignano: truly memorable! This is also a wine farm and we enjoyed two bottles of wine during our stay. Our only regret was that we were traveling by air because the wine was really good and we would have loved to buy more. The location is very good, close to San Gimignano, and relatively close to other great places like Volterra and Siena. We are so glad we stayed here for the Tuscany leg of our trip!
