In Siena for one night, in the middle of truffle season. Following the May Day holiday weekend, we found this nice little restaurant. It doesn't ooze appeal from the outside but in the inside is where it happens. Basic trattoria appearance but service and food is worth a visit. The 'two little sisters' run by a husband and wife definitely not a tourist trap. Had the veal and truffle main, exquisite flavor. Not high end, but local and enjoyable.

The bruschetta is absolutely outrageous!!!! The best I've had in Italy! Presentation excellent, staff attentive and low-key.

We stopped here for lunch at one of their outside tables and were so glad we did. Our food was excellent and the service friendly even though we were about the last customers before their afternoon break. Would recommend.

Small restaurant with great food, not a tourist trap like many other restaurants around. As first course I had a "mozzarella di buffala" with a delicious light pesto dressing, as second course a "tagliata" that was was delicious, wine was great and the service professional.
It's a very small restaurant so be sure to make a reservation!
