We´re a couple from Barcelona and we ate twice at Osteria Le Sorelline nine months ago and had to go back (twice!) at our most recent trip (this time with another family member). All the food is home-made, from the bread to the pastas to the incredible desserts. The dishes are simple, but the quality of the ingredients makes them absolutely delicious! If you want really good home-made food, this is a great place for price-quantity-quality.

We went there for diner and we appreciated the possibility to eat late. The dinner was just perfect with fresh quality Italian products and home made pasta. The waitress was very nice. The price remains very reasonable give what we took. The decoration is very simple but the food is the reason to come. A very good adress for sure.

Or so they say - since we sat at a table and, after few minutes, the waitress came and said we should leave cause they are full. We asked why they have tables then - so that people sit and afterwards to be rushed outside? This was the worst experience, we are embarassed for their shame, this not the kind of behaviour expected for a good rated food business.

Absolutely fantastic, the best dinner of our Tuscany trip, I had pasta with truffles and smoked duck and it was wonderful. Simple but so tasty... Very friendly service, good wine by the glass, and excellent tiramisu. Don't hesitate!

We went here because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor, but we were a bit confused when we arrived and looked inside as it seemed to be a shop rather than a restaurant, and the only seats we saw were bar stools along the wall opposite the counter. Fortunately we saw someone walking inside and disappearing downstairs (we didn’t see the stairs at the far end of the shop at first), so we realized that they probably have the restaurant in another room inside, which turned out to be a correct conclusion. We hadn’t made any reservation, but fortunately there were available tables when we arrived. The waitress was very nice and readily answered our questions about the menu. She spoke very good English too. The bread basket that we got included some pieces of tasty focaccia (in addition to the usual white tasteless bread that most restaurants serve). A bottle of olive oil was placed on the table. As a starter we shared a grilled pecorino with cured ham and fresh black truffle, and it was so delicious. For main course we had one duck tagliata with grana padana, red cabbage and balsamico, and one veal tagliata with fresh black truffle, and two side dishes of roast potatoes and tomatoes. It was all delicious. Then we shared a chocolate dessert with rum and cream, and it was quite good but didn’t have much rum flavour. Prices were reasonable and the meal was very good value for money, €9 for the starter, €15 and €17 for the main courses and €4 each for the side dishes. We are very glad that we found this restaurant, because here we had one of the best dinners during our 1½ week holiday in Tuscany.
