Our second visit to Gubbio did not disappoint. You can park across the road from the San Marco for 10eu a day.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful
Room was great, for the price we paid it was great value. The Breakfast room is is a delight,as was the food
A five minute walk into the lovely town .The funicular must be tried, only six euros
If ever visiting a Gubbio the San Marco is the place to stay

Fantastic hotel, very clean, comfortable just great. Great price at 69 euro per day for the standard room, could have had the economy room at 59 euro. Only small glitch with 158, there was no towel/ clothes hooks in the bathroom.

From the beginning we were helped by Roberto. His service skills and his attention to our needs was excellent.
The hotel is very clean, modern and right outside old Gubbio, so very convenient to walk everywhere. In fact we parked our car when we got there and picked it up two days later. There is no parking at the hotel, that's a little bit of an inconvenience, but the rooms are clean with a little fridge and great views of the Christmas tree from our window. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and a good Expresso, Cappuccino machine.
I would definitely return here.

Charming hotel with lots of character and pleasant, helpful staff.
Good location near the Centro Storico, and convenient for exploring the town. Lots of restaurants and the hotel gives discount vouchers for three within easy walking distance.
Comfortable and clean room, with access to roof terrace. There is also a nice garden in a central courtyard.
Breakfast buffet with good selection of juice, cereal, yoghurts, fruit, fresh bread, cold meats, cheese, eggs, pastries and cakes.
Wifi was a bit erratic in the bedroom, but fine in the reception, lounge and restaurant.
Free parking close by, recommended by the hotel.

Room tip: Some traffic noise, but ask for a room on high floor or overlooking the garden.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the clean and charming hotel. The breakfast was very good. The outdoor seating area was surrounded by nice greenery, a good place to eat and start your morning. I particularly enjoyed the Nutella. The hotel is situated in a good location, close to the city center. Our room had 2 tall windows that could access the roof to walk on and see parts of the city. Seeing as this was our first hotel in Italy, we were happy that the night staff was friendly and even let us borrow a plug adapter. We only had a small issue getting the air conditioner to produce very cold air. It wasn't a major issue. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
