We visited Le Museum restaurant when staying 1 night at the nearby Tralala Hotel. Tripadvisor's category of it being a "steakhouse" is a bit misleading - it specialises in traditional Swiss fare which includes some steak dishes, but also fish and various cheese and meat fondues.
The restaurant is in the cellar of the museum and has a lovely cosy atmosphere with friendly and welcoming service. We shared a "beef fondue" - which comprised a fondue pot of simmering red wine sauce in which to cook your dish of beef fillet slices. This was served with a selection of cold sauces such as curry, garlic, cocktail and chilli, as well as a potato gratin. The meat was incredibly tender and only took a minute or so to cook. The staff repeated circulated with top up servings of the gratin which was to die for! We watched others enjoying the beef carbonnade (table top BBQ) which also looked fun and the general DIY cooking gave the place a fun ambiance. Desserts were a selection of sorbets served in heatlhy portions of alcohol - priced 11CHF each.
Overall it was a great experience and although not cheap, we would highly recommend it as a treat!
