My mother and I chose La Soupière as it was conveniently located in our hotel, and we were not disappointed!
The decor is traditional and doesn't really stand out, but the food... OMG!
Since we don't have very big appetites (and the place is very expensive) we did not have appetizers. Our mains were veal saltimbocca accompanied with green beans and a pomegranate risotto for me and my mother had a porc filet with homemade raviolis topped with a poached egg, accompanied with creamed spinach.
Both our dishes were outstanding. My veal was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked, the risotto was nice and creamy and the pomegranate provided a pleasant burst of freshness.
For desert, I had a chocolate mousse that was decadent, yet not overly rich and the berries that came with it provided a nice freshness to the plate.
The service is excellent, everyone seems to speak several languages and we did not have trouble being served in english.
