We came here after a gap of over a year and were greeted as old friends. The menu has changed so we opted for the surprise 3-course menu and had a delightful evening. To start with lovely French bread with aioli and pepper tapas - not too much garlic or tomato in each dish, very subtle. The theme continued with a starter of lamb sausage (not too spicy) and king prawns with just the right amount of garlic. The chef really knows how to balance dishes. Main was a salad, couscous, meatballs, lamb in a lovely fruit and nut sauce and an unusual chicken in file pastry with nuts and sugar. Dessert was delicious date cake with ice cream, honey and fig sauce. I don't understand why this place isn't full to bursting every time we come.
