This hotel is in a really good location, close public transportation, the main train station is right there. It is in on a popular street and is busy at night. The hotel itself is ok, no thrills. Small room, weird hotel layout, lots of up and down stairs that are strange. The lobby is more like a disco tech... blue neon lights.
No breakfast
IF you don't like busy noisy roads, this is not the place for you.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of April and had a great time. Everything about this place - the location, the cleanliness, the staff were all top drawer however the only thing to bring this down having been there is the cost. Not very competitive and small double room is really small!

Service we experienced was fine, didn’t need anything so no problems there. Went with boyfriend and got there early, we were able to leave our bags there and check in later.
rooms were small but clean room i stayed in was quite quirky . I took a risk from reading the reviews as i like my hotels to be very clean and luxurious however due to budget it was not possible this time. The location was EXCELLENT. Right in the middle of everything, coffee shops, bars and places to get food. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel and pop back in the afternoon. Red light district 10 min walk away as is train station. We were able to walk to the anne frank house and around Amsterdam. I don’t like walking anywhere and this location was so convenient and close to everything. Hotel cc is clean and a good hotel to stay in, the only one issue i had was the noise from the street. If you are a light sleeper then ask for a room at the back as my room was facing on to the street and people were shouting till the very early hours. This is was not a problem for us as we were drunk so didn’t hear it as much.
If you can handle the noise from the street then this is the place to stay and if not have a smoke and drink and you will be fine.

Booked the hotel because it was a decent price and the location.
5-10 minute walk from the train station, right beside the red light district, 10 minute walk to the Dam Square and the palace...the hotel can't be beaten for where it is!!!
Room was clean and modern with an air conditioning unit. It was split in to two levels with very steep steps up to the bedroom....fine for us thirty somethings who watched what we drank each night!!!
We didn't have breakfast in the hotel...we frequented a small cafe called Teddy's Corner just across the road all 3 mornings...nice wee spot!!! English fry on offer as well as just the basic tea and toast.
The hotel for us was basically a room for us to sleep in and get changed...quiet, no hassle, friendly reception staff.
The street on which the hotel is located has plenty of bars and cafes...we hit the two Irish ones Durty Nellys and Irish Pub Slainte for grub...decent enough prices compared to other places!
Speaking of prices...I ran out of money in a bar...cost of alcohol in Amsterdam is shocking...though do "shop around"...we saved 4 euros on two drinks between two bars which were around the corner from one another.
We did the 1 hour canal trip with the Lovers company, we visited Ann Frank's house (pre-book online to save you queuing...even at 6:30pm on a Sunday night there were loads of people, who we by-passed, waiting to get in!!!), we went to Casa Rosso for their live adult shows (not seedy at all, plenty of couples and females at 11pm on a Friday evening), we people watched at Dam Square, we explored the Red Light District at night which has to be seen to be believed!!!...perfect weather when we were there added to the ambiance!!!
Overall Amsterdam was class and the CC Hotel was the perfect base!!! Definitely would stay here again or recommend friends to stay there!

I travelled wirh seven colleagues - we wanted a central hotel near the station.
As we discovered Hotel CC is located on a narrow street in the red light district.
This street is extremely crowded, noisy and in the morning covered in mess from the night before.
Hotel CC is a rabbit warren spread over four floors, there is a lift to the third floor, what is totally confusing is that your room maybe on the third floor but having left the lift, to get to it ,you may well go up and down a series of narrow and in some cases very steep stairs.
None of us managed to find the stairs from the first floor to the lobby.

The first room I was allocated was on the top floor under the eaves the only area where I could stand up straight was in a strip down the centre about 4 feet wide.In fairness on complaining I was allocated another room at the back of the hotel which was much better.

The decor in the rooms is good cool whites and greys, the bathrooms are all fitted out to a high standard, in room facilities are also good including high quality towels etc.
All my colleagues were amazed at the sizes of the bedrooms & bathrooms - they are diminutive!!! There are only 3 hooks in the rooms to hang jackets - no wardrobes

The beds are also exceptionally short.

There is no provision for breakfast.

The only staff we saw was one person on reception.

At €175 for the night it was lousy value.

If you and your partner are 5ft tall, very slim and aged 25 or under and keen to be in the redlight district this could be ideal for you - all others avoid.
