My boyfriend and I spent one night here, we felt like it was a pretty good choice. The best aspect about this place is the central position- which justifies the rather high price.

The staff was very friendly and facilitated our schedule: we arrived at the hotel at 21.00 and even though there was nobody at the reception, they left our key to the neighbouring pub, with a nice letter that included useful info. They also gave us two free drinks at this pub. After checkout, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and walk some more in Amsterdam, luggage-free.

The room (at the top floor) was minimalistic and clean. The bathroom in this room was a bit uncomfortable: very small, the shower is not separate from the toilet, in the sense that when you shower, everything gets wet. The sink was in the room, not in the bathroom. The garbage did not have a new bag, it had been used. The bed sheets were clean and the beds were comfy, we slept well. The breakfast was also minimalistic, with very few options for vegetarians. Good free wifi connection. All in all, it was a very good experience.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and were very pleased with hospitality, location and service. Room was also very comfortable and even romantic with the sloping ceiling and nice view (the first time in Amsterdam when I saw not an opposite building wall but a beautiful courtyard).
And the owner is a very positive person!)

We stayed at The prinsenhof hotel in Bruges via secret escape holidays and had a wonderful time the hotel is located close to all the main attractions but set back off the main st so very peaceful. The quality of the hotel and the fantastic friendly staff made our short stay so enjoyable especially good at all those small details The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had very relaxed and the champagne was an interesting way to start the day The breakfast staff are brilliant nothing was too much trouble top marks Prinsenhof looking forward to a return visits 10 out of 10.

I stayed in this hotel only for one night so it is difficult to be fair. Hotel has very good location close to Dutch national bank and not far from city center.. rooms were small but clean. Staff was very helpfull ... I enjoyed that stay

This is my second visit to this little hotel. A very warm welcome by Sonja, its clean and the rooms nicely decorated. Its close to all the sights but in a lovely area. Well worth a visit. Nothing is to much trouble for the owners and breakfast was only €5. Excellent for those who are staying with friends/groups. We will return
