This is the second time I’ve been to The Seafood Bar in Spui. We arrived early (about 6) and were seated right away, although the restaurant was pretty packed already.
The host showed us the fish of the day, and explained how it would be prepared. We placed our order for wine, and it promptly came. The tuna tartare is wonderful, and I highly recommend it. Make sure to get a side of soy sauce with a bit of wasabi. Wonderful! We also got the razor clams which were just ok. Then we each got the special, a flaky which fish served whole, with bok choy. Not enough bok choy, so next time I’d order a side of veggies.
Prices here are fair for what you get. And I highly recommend this place if you want the freshest seafood, a good wine list, and great service!!
