It is not easy, for whatever reason to find good Asian food in the Netherlands, it is all par, whether that be Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, or Japanese. This restaurant though does a great job at their Thai food. I am a lover of all things Isan; especially, the food. It is Thai food at its best so that is what I ordered here and it was good. It wasn't Ubon Ratchathani good, but it was close. The spices were almost exactly right. I did order my meal hot and in true Thai style, it was hot, which I liked. Isan food is not proper if it is not sweet, salty, sour and/or bitter, and spicy. It must have at least 3 flavors and this dish had it, but most important is the heat. If the heat is not there, the food is no good. (If you want Som Tum, you must order a day in advance because they must order the papaya.) The prices are higher than the USA, but after being here for sometimes, this seems to be the norm, at least for any type of Asian food. Also, the atmosphere of this place is Thai and both the oweners, husband and wife are Thai themselves. I am happy and I will be back
