My boyfriend and I both ordered the 4 course tasting menu paired with wine. It came with two entrees, 1 main and 1 dessert. We started out with an asparagus espresso on the house, followed by our first entree which was tuna with chicory, then salmon wontons. Our main course was slices of lamb cooked perfectly and ended with some vanilla ice cream smothered in warm strawberries with ginger. It was all amazing. The paired wines were all fantastic as well. Our waitress (who is the mother of the restaurant owner) was attentive and friendly and spoke great english (the menu is in french). Overall this was a great experience.

We visted Brussels for the Jazz marathon and decided to book our first evening meal before we left the UK. So I telephoned the restaurant (as they only book that way) and booked our table.
We arrived a little late but this was not an issue.
The waitress showed us to our table and gave us the menu. The owner then came over to explain the choice and introduce the 'Eyes Shut' option of the menu. We decided to try this and what a good choice this turned out to be. 4 courses with matching wines and plenty of both.
This was a very busy establishment with plenty of locals in attendance.
The owner asked us how we had found them - asking if it was Trip Adviser. I assured him it certainly was!
Would recommend this restaurant.

Our visit to O-restaurant was based on reviews read on TripAdvisor and looking at the restaurants website. It was well worth the visit – the food was very good for the price, while the service was warm and friendly. The restaurant would be well suitable for both romantic dinners, dinners with business partners or if you're dining with friends.

We had the 4 course blind menu with wine included. As mentioned the food was really enjoyable. It was of a high standard and the kitchen clearly seemed to use fresh quality ingredients. My only minus was regarding the wine menu, where I didn’t get a separate wine for the dessert, but instead got some more of the same wine that I got for the main dish. That said, the wine we did get tasted great and they served plenty of it.

It seems that people eat very late at this restaurant. We arrived when they open at 19:00. We were the only people there for some time, but suddenly people started showing up, and in under an hour after arriving the restaurant was completely packed. Clearly many of the guests were locals. Some had reservations while others just showed up. So making a reservation might not be a bad idea – especially if you plan to eat a bit later than we did.

There are a few nice little shops in the street, and Place Chatelain is only a short walk from the restaurant. So this might also be worth factoring into the planning when visiting O-restaurant.

i had lunch here (open from 12.00 to 14.00), they serve a fixed menu for 15 euro (starter and choice between meat and fish). very simple and unpretentious place, only 5 (five!) customers. good service and extremely good food. my starter was a small cup of soup (with a mild foam followed by more savory note in the soup), vinaigrette salad, a croquette with spanish chorizo and cherry tomatoes with small shrimps. i say this just to let you know how unusual (and interesting) their dishes can be.
see the picture for the main (beef with a slightly spicy curry sauce, with penne and zucchini). final bill was 27 (15 + glass of wine + cheese and coffee).
i suggest you to go there with no hesitation. a lot of details show they know the job: nice music, right volume (to let you hear your thoughts and appreciate the food), cloth serviettes in the toilet, proper lighting, on the mark mise en place with dark tables and orange napkins. closed on sunday, easily reached from Bailli tram station (take care _rue_ de Bailli, not _avenue_ de Bailli: my appetite was gargantuan after an additional walk of some 25 minutes because of the blunder!)
