Good, clean, rooms full of light, small gym with no feeling of privacy, small swimming pool. The rooms are well equiped, with good beds and nice sofas (incl. desks). NIce design of bathrooms!
I needed to make an advance pay at the check in.

The hotel is in a good location and the arrival was great with early check-in.

I don't know why there are rooms located on the first floor, where they have their business facilities, if there was a business meeting there you would have to walk through the meeting to your room. Strange. My room was on the first floor - if I had remembered I would have asked for a higher floor due to the noise of the traffic that can be heard throughout the day and night.

I don't usually stay in Novotel hotels due to their uncomfortable beds however, it was a pleasant surprise to find actually the bed was very comfortable. The room overall was pretty standard, limited toiletries, no iron or board and no bath. The minibar had nothing but 2 small bottles of SPA water at €3.50 each which must be aimed at the insanely desperate.

The most disappointing part of the hotel is the breakfast, the extra charge really is not worth it. No fresh fruits (tinned), no fresh juices (watered orange juice), limited hot food and the quality of it was really very poor for a 4 star hotel.

I've stayed in 3 other 4 star hotels in Brussels and this has not matched any of those in any areas. As a general rule, having stayed at a varied range of Accor hotels, if Accor says it's a 4 star - think of it as a 3 star, if it's their Sofitel hotels think of those as 4 star.

Stayed for 2 nights on business. Great location with shops and restaurants just around the corner. Nice comfortable clean room, free wifi. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Foursquare restaurant for dinner was nice although limited choice and some were quite small portions. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Booked quite late so quite expensive but not unexpected for city centre.

Room tip: Higher floors with a view of St Catherines

This Novotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing; shopping and eating. There are excellent seafood restaurants a two minutes walk away. Safe, secure parking is just across the street at €14 per night. Rooms are modern and spotless with many amenities. It is worth paying for an Executive room as this is a larger room and comes with a mini bar of free soft drinks, beer and snacks, which is restocked daily Breakfast is superb; there are many choices of meats, cheeses and breads as well as cooked items. Delivery of breakfast to the room until noon is free of extra charge. There is a pleasant bar and a limited menu of Belgian specialities. Staff are efficient and courteous.
