Positive:
Twin beds room. Bathroom with tub, very nice. Very large and comfortable beds.
Wifi very fast! On mobile speedtest 2.4Ghz at least 20Mbps download and 12 Mpbs upload!
In a quiet neighbourhood but walking distance of city centre.
Enough powersockets for charging mobiles.
Can also recommend the Syrian-Libanese restaurant Taboule across the street!
Parking at Alfapark (really only 2min walking) is much cheaper (we actually parked there because their own parking space was full, but in the end it's much cheaper at Alfapark)!

Negative:
I can't think of anything I didn't like except for the fact that the swimmingpool was closed during our stay! We looked forward to some relaxing in there but couldn't.

This is a lovely central hotel. A warm welcome and a well appointed room. Very clean. Tea & coffee facilities. Lovely bathroom with a really deep bathtub. Fluffy towels, extra pillows extra. We could see the cathedral from our room. It was quiet at night. There is parking but it is twice the price of the public car parks which are nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Booked through booking.com as said free breakfast in advert. Apparently this was only for certain rooms but you only found this out when you have booked!!! We could not cancel without incurring a cancellation fee. I have all the evidence of this scam and will investigate how I can report booking.com to the office of fair trading or the European equivalent. They seem to have very dodgy practices and their free cancellation offers are also false. On arrival were told by hotel that they keep telling booking.com to rectify the mistake. Even booking.com admitted their error but only offered us a measly 15 euros for the inconvenience caused. Anyway hotel room was great, very clean, roomy and a great bathroom. Laurien on reception was lovely. Alas cannot say what breakfast was like as could not afford it.

Room Tip: Had a room at the back lovely and quiet

The Flanders Hotel in Bruges is excellent, as a first time traveller to Bruges, I was not aware of the layout but this hotel is well situated to walk everywhere. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable but small. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of cooked and continental choices. There is a small supermarket along the road. It costs 12 euros by taxi from the station. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Book a large bedroom

Just back from a stay here in Bruges. The hotel is worthy of 4stars, very clean, contemporary and a accommodating. A really lovely hotel with big rooms and we also had a balcony. Nice, comfortable modern bar but shame it didn't open until 4. Disappointed there's no restaurant but only a short walk in to town so not really a problem when you get your bearings. Great facilities and friendly helpful staff. Only a five minute walk from the main square so well positioned. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on this. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a large room, not the basic room and had lots of space but didn't cost much more.
