The staff.... the breakfast and the comfortable rooms in this hotel set it apart from other 3 star hotels I’ve stayed in.....however.... if you are disabled ....especially if you use a wheelchair then this hotel may not be suitable for you.
I am an above knee amputee so am ambulant on crutches as well as using a wheelchair.
There are 2 steps up to the hotel and I witnessed a lady in a wheelchair unable to access the hotel.
We asked the reception for a ramp but they hadn’t got one... so the lady had to be carried up the steps.... once inside, the lift wasn’t accessible as the lift doors didn’t open wide enough.
Totally unacceptable in my opinion.
In 2018 this should not be allowed to happen.More
