You have to take a detour from the highway, climb some distance, pass through the maze of civil court and other offices and then reach this almost invisible place. The five century old fort is now crumbling and upkeep is bad. Yet, it retains its charm with its expansive precinct, archeological ruins, ponds, 400 year old Maulshri tree and equally old Brijraj Swami temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is only about 25 km from Pathankot and five km from Jassur.
