We stayed in the Evora Inn Chiado for three nights and found it very comfortable, clean and attractively furnished. The air conditioning was very welcome as we had two days with 39 maximum temperature. Because of the air-con and double glazed windows it was possible to block out any street noise at night. The Hotel is very centrally located & staff very friendly & helpful. Parking isn't available so we parked outside of the historic centre in the public parking area.

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very pleased with our stay. Most important thing to know is that there is no elevator and there are a lot of stairs. The rooms are fairly sparse but spacious and the bathrooms are also plain but clean. We did not partake in the breakfast or use the lounge but they both looked nice.

There is no parking in the old city, but the open parking lot is only a 5 min walk away and is where most people park who are staying in the old city. The owners and Fatima, who worked there, were all very helpful and nice.

Room Tip: The room with the terrace is on the top floor so be prepared to climb 5 sets of stairs, but the view is lovely.

We stayed for 2 nights. First and extremely important for us is secure bike parking. They had that covered. The location was great. Right on the main square. It was easy to get to everything we wanted. Our room was big with lots of space to stretch out. The bathroom not so much and the shower was small. The decor was fun to look at and admire. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices including cereal and yogurt. But the best part was the helpful staff. Being touring cyclists we always have clothes to wash they helped us by providing a rack on the terrace so we could dry our clothes. Also good dinner suggestion and helped with a reservation. Wonderful! Yes there were street noises but that happens in a city especially with a lot of students at end of term.

The service tops. I had a couple of queries and emailed the hotel, the very helpful replies came in within the next day (time difference from Portugal to Singapore is 8 hours).

The location is great as it is in the city centre and so close to the attractions. We did want somewhere with parking but as it turned out, there was ample free parking just outside the city walls and it's walkable distance.

Room size was adequate and comfortable, can't complain for the price we paid.

Right on Evóra's historic center. Very good room, comfortable beds, good breakfast, nice view from the room's window. The only negative point for me it was the shower size, too small for people above 1,70cm. However, I would book this hotel again!
