This hotel is in a great location. We got a taxi from the railway station (quite a walk into town) which cost 6 euros. Room was a good size, with an immaculate, spacious bathroom. Didn't take the breakfast, which was extra. Although the area is generally quiet, we did ask to change rooms after one night, due to noisy students (due to a special event). University not very far away. Buses going to the beaches stop on the main road just at the end of the street. Plenty to occupy you in Aveiro for a couple of days. This was the best hotel on this trip to Portugal.

Very clean, convenient hotel, just a short walk from the city centre. Friendly staff, comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Bathroom small but immaculate and adequate. Limited free parking opposite and very nice décor throughout the hotel.
Would stay here again if visiting Aveiro.

    Room Tip: Room with balcony

This hotel was a small gem in the center of town. The owner greeted us with 2 glasses of port. The staff was friendly, the facility was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was more than adequate. We enjoyed exploring the area from this location.

The main problem was the room too hot and no air conditioner. Ascensor far too slow! Prefer to use stairs after the first usage of the ascensor. Old building but good presentation. Internet connection was good.
    Overall a good experience

This hotel currently has a 2 star rating but do not let that put you off. The hotel is beautifully maintained and the rooms well appointed. We took breakfast and that was good value. The hotel, as the name suggests, is in the centre and handy for all the places of interest, bars and restaurants. Our Sat-Nav took us straight to the door. We were able to park on the adjacent street.
