If you look for the top hotel in this part of Portugal; you’ve found it when you arrive at the Hotel Palacio in Estoril.

It is not just Grand Old World Charm when it comes to the architecture and interior design of the building, which I hope they will never change, but also classy good service from the moment you enter this five-star establishment.

Everything is done with love and attention to details. The smallest things are done well and with precision.

World class facilities culminate in a world class spa being part of the hotel; a superb location in Estoril next to a market, the Casino and the Convention Center.

The heart and soul of the hotel are the team under the guidance of Mr Correa de Barros. Always friendly and with a smile, nothing is too much.

You can stay anywhere else in Estoril, but you would waste your time and miss out on a true Palacial experience.

Just to walk the halls shows the history of this place that is located next to the Estoril Casino. Its visited by kings and queens and famous legends. Very friendly service and classy 30’s style that is well kept by the staff. We had a great time. Tip: the train is close by and gives easy access to Lisabon and Cascais when you get tired of driving or grabbing taxis.

Our stay was brief but amazingly comfortable. From the beginning to end all was seamless. It had been years since the last visit but it was good to be greeted by Sr. Alfonso at the door and by Sr Mario making all things smooth for me and my family. Our ties to this hotel go back 30 years and it has only become better with time like a fine Douro wine!
The hotel staff was ever so accommodating and were like family to my two young boys as they were in the past with members of my family. This hotel is a must if you are in Estoril and want 5 star accommodations and treatment. I actually rested, which as one must understand is not easy with 2 your boys (ages; 5/2). Again thank you to the lovely staff and especially to Sr. Mario and Sr. Alfonso.....Muito Obrigado

Room tip: Ask for the Princess of Greece Suite!

Booked this as part of a Golf Package , playing at the Estoril Golf Club. Location is great with Cascais, an easy / beautiful walk 20 mins away. If you like Grand Old Classic Hotels where the walls ooze history then this is for you. Great Pool area .

Highlight was the breakfast spread which is one of the best I have seen in many years of travel. We also had an evening meal where the service was excellent with knowledgeable wine experts ensuring we had great wine choices with each of our dishes.

As you will see on other reviews the rooms are a bit on the small side , but what surprised us was the lack of Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room

As a Golf Location the Shuttle to/from the Club was excellent and again the Golf Club is an old Classic maintained to the highest standard possible [Fairways like tees/Greens]

This is an extremely well appointed Hotel. Everything about it oozes of luxury. The dining areas, the rooms, the floral arrangements at breakfast, the pool and spa all exude a feeling of elegance and luxury. Breakfast in the morning is a gourmet experience. They event have gluten free bread. The boardwalk facing the ocean is a short walk from the hotel. What impressed me most was the customer service at all levels. They treat you like royalty here. I would like to mention the following people for truly exemplary customer service.

Tiago was amazing. He has a great attitude and really understands customer service.
Raquel served us during the barbeque dinner. She was so attentive yet non intrusive.
Catarina Diniz went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for us.
Marta at breakfast runs everyone with great efficiency.
Marianna Fernandez was so good to us.
Armando Lee had a smile that lit up our day.

All the staff are amazing. We also had the best massage by Amy and Sandy. I would highly recommend them.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.
