This property is located in a unique location in Lisbon - Belém just in front of the River Tagus and in the middle of important monuments of Lisbon city.
I consider to have a spetacular rooms and views to the river, a perfect place to go as a couple, with familly or even alone! Just a few minutes walking distance from the Hotel you can reach very important monuments and one of the best exhibition centre for music and art's.
Fantastic Spa and great restaurants and bares inside, with a special reference to the 1 Michelin Star Restaurant - Feitoria! You really must try it!

It was our first visit to Lisbon and we chose this hotel based on reviews. We were not disappointed at all. It has a unique design, very spacious rooms, nice restaurant and a luxurious spa. We had a beautiful view of the river Tagus, the 26th April Bridge, the statue of the jesus christ and to top it all a view of the sunrise on the other side of the river that we could watch from our bed!

Location: 30 min from the airport by taxi (25 Euros). 20 minutes to city centre by taxi or by tram. Some of the major attractions like the Belem tower and the Jeronimos monastery are under 10 min walk from this hotel.

Negatives: a bit pricey, away from the city centre, not many restaurants within walking distance

Thank you very much for your comment on our Altis Belem Hotel & Spa.

We are right on the city centre regarding the most visited monuments in Lisbon, and that reflect the Portuguese history as a People.

Nevertheless just 10 minutes will separate the hotel from the city centre, where you can find so many other things to do and see.

Thank you for your remarks.

The hotel is in Belem in a little harbour. So if it is a central location you are after - it is not for you. But - it is near the best pastry shops in Portugal in a beautiful harbour with a Michelin starred restaurant (fantastic, especially the appetizers are incredible) and its cool and modern. If you want to go jogging its along the water front on the flat part of Lisbon - best place for joggers.
Service is great. Rooms are modern and really OK. Building is modern, great design. I will definitely stay there again !

Room tip: lower floor is onto the harbour so if you want an open balcony go for one of the higher floors

Great hotel! Look amazing! I was there in two different rooms..the both are excellent! I was just angry because of spa and wellness...I wanted to go for massage and some treatments and they were so lazy and didn't want to answer to the phone..and when i asked them face to face they said there is no place for anything

My trip was made by this hotel. In the beautiful Belem in which the town centre is only a short walk away! Stunning views from hotel room. Not only was the hotel and rooms architecture fantastic - but so was the staff. From the waitors, to the reception to the gentleman who ran the shuttle bus into the city, all amazing. I will definitely return to this hotel. Truely worth its 5 star rating, really worth its weight in gold.
