This hotel is very beautiful it, was once the palace of a count. It has very elegant rooms and public areas. It is located in a very hilly district which can be a problem for less mobile guests getting around. I think it is quite a distance from the main tourist locations but taxis are reasonable. Service is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable hotel in a quiet area bit to far from the centre but taxis are very cheap and available. The piano bar service is excellent but drinks and food are very overpriced. Having said that they make amazing cocktails. We took breakfast in our room and it was basic at best. Our suite overlooking the gardens and pool had an enormous balcony which would be wonderful in summer. Housekeeping can be a bit erratic , cleaning can be done late in the day.

Beautiful hotel, lovely spacious rooms, lovely gardens, the only downside (for me was that its a bit apart from the whole spirit of Lisbon. Its in a beautiful area, but a bit far and too quiet (unless that is what you are looking for). the breakfast is served in a beautiful patio and lunch by the pool is top. totally recommend this hotel

Room tip: we had one with a little garden but i suggest one facing the pool and gardens.

Thank you very much for taking time to review your stay with us. I am so pleased to read that you had a comfortable and relaxing stay even being a litle bit apart from central Lisbon as you mentioned.

Please do come back, we are all looking forward to welcome you again at The Lapa Palace

The location is away from the center of activities but taxi price are so reasonable and readily available that being away from all the hustle bustle is rather good. For 5 to 6 Euros you are where you want to be. taxi to and from the airport is around 10 euros. Hotel staff will recommend good places for dinner. One place they recommended they recommended was CervejariaTrindade - looking at the place from the outside, i would not have gone is. we had a great meal there.

Room tip: We were given poolside room that was great. A very nice and quite neighborhood - a room overlooking the city would be even better.

Very nice and friendly
The breakfast was very good. Good service
The room was quiet. The music in the bar was excellent. The only problem was that the bathrop was only xx not xxx. This a place where I certainly return.
