Hard to find fault with this hotel.
Delicious, plentiful breakfast.
Friendly staff, particularly the lovely barman.
Rooms were spotless and comfortable.
Right across the street from the metro, 15 minutes into the city and about 20 to the airport.
Close to shopping centre.
Would stay again.

My first trip to Lisbon and my first solo trip abroad in a few years so I am really grateful to a lovely staff at this gem of a hotel for making me so welcome. Situated a short journey from the airport, direct route on the Metro (hotel literally across the Metro entrance). Rooms really clean, excellent service. Nice, comfortable bar area too. Bonus of a good breakfast too!

This was a good choice if you want to save some money on a clean, tidy and functional hotel not right in the centre of the city. It’s about four stations on the metro from the centre and it’s a nice break from the tourist crowds in summer. Nearby is a major shopping centre with high end brands and places to eat. Service was next to non-existent with front desk staff rarely raising their heads to say hello. But you get what you pay for and this hotel was fine.

The beds were a bit firm, and airplanes flew over every few minutes. If I had not brought my earplugs and white noise machine, the sound of 747s could have been a problem for sleeping. The décor was drab from the 1970s style and looked worn. Our room did have a balcony that was enjoyable to sit on in the evenings. The staff was mostly helpful, although one gentleman was somewhat curt when I asked him to call a tour company to confirm the pickup time for the following morning.

The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast every morning, which was included in the price. Waking up to fresh fruit, toast and jam, meats, cheeses, and individually brewed cappuccinos was a great way to start every day. The hotel was close to a subway stop down the street, and this was the main reason we booked the hotel. We like to be close to public transportation for exploring the city. A few restaurants were down the street like sushi and Italian. An ATM was at the end of the block. The area did not have trendy vibe, and seemed a bit removed from the interesting parts of the city.

The hotel was an adequate accommodation for our short stay in Lisbon.

Room tip: Some rooms have a balcony, which is nice in the evening.

We stayed for 4 nights. Arrived at the hotel at 10 am and were pleasantly surprised to hear that our room was ready. t made a big difference as we were coming from a red eye flight from the US. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. check in process was very quick. They answered all our questions. Rooms were clean and had a modern look. Windows insulated street noise very effectively. We had 4 people in one room yet, there was ample space to move around. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony. Wifi was ok. There was a refrigerator in the room. Not much of a view but didn't care about that. Front desk guided us how to obtain metro passes and how to get to the tourist areas. The Blue (Azul) line station(San Sabastian) entrance is literally across the street. You will still need to walk a couple of blocks underground to get to the trains. Breakfast was not included and we had to pay extra but it was good. We needed some help in booking dinner/Fado. The front desk took care of it promptly. We were a bit late coming back at one of the nights so took a cab back from Alfama. Taxi fare was about 7 Euros which I thought was very reasonable.
