The hostel is in a prime location in the heart of Bairro Alto. Taking the aerobus from the aiport we got off at the Cais Sodre stop, which is about a 15 minute walk to the hostel. Be warned that Lisbon is a hilly city so that walk was a rather steep climb , especially carrying large backpacks. The hostel itself is on the second floor of a building, on one of the smaller side streets. Press to buzzer for entry into the building and once inside, there is no clear signage - but take the stairs up 1 floor to see reception. The hostel itself is beautiful, modern / trendy and well maintained. There is free strong wifi as well as free breakfast in the morning. Kitchen is available, just make sure to place your used dishes and cups in the dishwasher.
Reception has a simplified map of all the sites in the area - ask them for their opinion where to go and they'll highlight the map for you (keep in mind the map does not show all the little streets, just the main ones). This area is where all the bars are so wander around and grab a drink or three.
