Eating at Cris’s is like going back to a time when dining out was a special occasion & one for which you dressed up, had top notch food, with polite respectful service by well dressed staff fully versed in dining etiquette. What a refreshing change to find a place that honours every one of those aspects of fine dining. This place should have Michelin stars. Even the finer details such as waiters in black tie, proper table linen, a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival & sorbet in between courses to cleanse the palette. The food was sublime, perfectly cooked & beautifully presented with flavours to delight. Even the owner was on hand to chat, something you rarely see nowadays. We have already booked to dine at Chris’s Place. The only downside is that we have the rest of the holiday to go but I don’t think we will find a finer restaurant.
