The hotel is immediately opposite a metro station in a very busy road. We had requested a quiet room on a high floor but were given a second floor room on the front. We had no sleep for three nights due to noise and it felt like we were sleeping outside at times. There may have been a problem with the window itself missing some draught/noise insulation as there seemed to be a complete gap all the way down one side. There is a bus stop outside as well.

The room was small and basic. A light fitting on the wall was hanging loose, a broken lamp was simply propped up against the wall by the bed. Pillows were rock hard. Avoid room 203 as it really is not fit for habitation.

The carpet in the lift lobby was heavily stained and overall this felt like a budget hotel on a downmarket street.

Breakfast was ok and there is a modest walk to the main part of Porto which is fine. Otherwise avoid this hotel.

Room tip: Avoid room 203, or any room on the front facing the road

I stayed here from 18th to the 21st of November with my wife for a long weekend break. The hotel location is excellent for travelling around Porto due to its close proximity to the metro line which is literally across the road. The rooms were a decent size with a fantastic comfy bed, maybe too hard for some but perfect for us. The room was clean and tidy and relatively quiet as it was at the rear of the hotel away from road traffic noise. It was only the barking dog which we could hear! The breakfast were plentiful and always topped up and set you up nicely for the day ahead. The tables were constantly being attended to by the girls, cleaning and taking things away. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
As I have said the metro is across the road which we used all the time we were there, after a long day out and about walking it was good that we could jump on a train and not walk up the hill. We took full advantage of the Adante Tour card for 72 hours for 15 euros. It is 5 euros return from the airport which meant three days travel for 10 euros, brill! You can even use it on the bus, we went to Foz which is a nice for a relaxing time by the sea.
If I was to return to Porto I would definitely stay at the Trindade again.

100 yards from the Trindade Metro station and close to the city centre, about 1/2 mile from the Historical centre and river. The front is understated and this is quite a small hotel with 6 rooms on every floor and 9 floor. The rooms are of a good size, with a quirky shower fridge and tea making facilities. The staff are extremely helpful and breakfast is a delight with plenty of fresh fruit and hot stuff for us Brits! We loved it!

The room was a bit small with a querky layout, but it was clean and breakfast was good.
The best part was that it is next to Trinnidade Metro Station so very easy to get to from the airport, and handy for the City Sightseening Buses.

Right across from Trindade Station very easy to get to from airport! Hotel was clean , room was small but gave you the impression that it wasn't , brightly decorated big window that opened not much of a view, construction going on next door but nice for the air, bathroom was good size!!!! Coffee & tea in room. WIFI was fine, staff helpful giving recommendations on where to eat . Breakfast was decent went to the hotel bar was ok for port and a custard tArt, slow service because only one staff member at the time. Very easy to walk everywhere from the hotel too.
