This is our second trip to this hotel. The first time 8 years ago (the last time in Porto). The first trip I used points to book the room. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the Suite (I think there is only one in the hotel). It was a huge room with a huge balcony. This trip we brought our two boys and was able to book this hotel and Suite directly. The entire hotel is very clean and contemporary. The staff is all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very quality with a variety of options to suit everyone, including hot food (eggs and sausages) a choice of fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses, yogurts, coffee, tea and breads. We enter our room with a couch that flips out for the kids, we have a large double bed, seating area, desk area, bedside tables, large bathroom with separate toilet area. Mirrored walls which make the place look even larger. Then the veranda/patio area. It's even bigger than the room. You could play tennis out there. All to yourself with a table and chairs. The bed is very supportive, but I prefer them that way. Room temperature is comfortable and adjustable. The location of the hotel is on the outskirts of the main city area, but just hop the metro and get off at Casa de Musica and it's an easy 5 minute walk from there. For us it was a no brainer. Large contemporary and clean hotel with a great breakfast and easy to get to, with loads to see just in that area as well. The hotel staff also have great suggestions for local places to eat that are delicious and easy on the pocketbook. Will definitely come back here again! Room was €105 per night for the four of us including breakfast.
