The views, the air, the location everything amazing. Really peaceful and tranquil place. They arranged for us to go on Elephant trekking tour which was fabulous. The lodge was nice and cozy inside too.

We had a wonderful stay at indigenous people lodge. It is well located, at 15min walking from the center so just what we needed to be in a peaceful place. It is well maintained and the lodges are cute! But the best in this place is the staff! They were so kind, always doing their best to make our stay perfect! I really recommend it!
The only thing is they don't really offer vegetarian meals (or it is quite light!) But there are places to eat around so it was ok for us!

We went there thanks to an advice of somebody and we were not disappointed. It's a beautiful and quiet place out of the town but not far by feet. The lodges are cute, simple but have everything you need. The staff is amazing ! There are helpful, smily, kind, just perfect !
Go there if you want to spend a great time in Sen Monorom !

Very basic accomodation in traditional huts in Bunong style. Very friendly staff, and very honest top they Will book tuk tuks with the best prices in town. Calm laid back atmosphere, take your time to do everything. The location is a bit out of the city. Bungalows are fine but as they are huts they are not sealed so be ready to a camping-style esperience. Prices are fine.

Stayed here for one night in a bungalow with its own bathroom.
Was not satiesfied.

Pros:
Cheap, clean, friendly staff, comfy bed, mosquito netting above bed, warm water in shower, cheap food, free internet.

Cons:
A couple of big holes in mosquito netting.
Wiring from water warmer right under shower and lamp less than a meter from shower looked very dangerous... Looked "homemade" without eletrical knowledge at all.
Bed was big enough, but blanket was not long enough... This will probably work most days of the year, but we were there early december which is the coldest week. We were therefore cold and had to sleep with clothes on..
There were big confusion around ordering dinner because of poor English. We always point out the dish in the meny which is usually written in Khmer and English to be sure the waiters understand what we want because if not then there is a big chance you get wrong dish while in Cambodia. But two people still ended up with four main courses where only one was correct one... Neighbor table also had problems. It was corrected, but we weren't very happy with taste either. Therefore we ended up with dinner and breakfast at neighbor hotel were we had already stayed and was very happy with food. We might have just been unlucky with the dishes we chose though.

We stayed here because we hoped it would be a nice experience staying at special made lodges. But we didn' get the "indiginous" vibe and was a bit disappointed. Playing american country music in restaurant in the evening just because there was a big table with 15 amercans didn't help.

I recommend staying at Manel guesthouse instead. We stayed there for two nights the same week and where very happy with that stay.
