You can not dislike a place that offers you a view of the Acropolis while you are having a great meal. We had a great Greek salad, delicious octopuses and a musaka. May be not big portions but very taste. The only problem was the line to use the bathrooms, because the bathroom got room for only one. Looks like a small detail but it is not when you drink lot of beer.

Looking over the Ancient Agora (if you don't mind the odd train trundling past) and with an incredible view of the Acropolis, the well cooked, flavourful food made up fpr some of the more unsavoury elementa of the tourist areas of Athens.
We had just come through the Agora and happened upon Antica quite by chance. The drinks were reasonably priced and much needed after a morning in the baking sun.
The food was top quality. I tried Pork Gyros for the first time and had my mind blown by a platter of meat and salad, tzatziki and pita, not to mention a large helping of fries. All for around €9 they do not scrimp on either quality or portions.
The meat was tender and packed with flavour. I heartily recommend it, especially if you plan on sleeping for much of the afternoon.
The one downside to the otherwise lovely location is that there is a constant stream of gentlemen walking past attempting to sell their wares to anyone in shouting distance. In the hour that we were there we had: selfie sticks; phone holders; maps of Athens and a one man Mariachi band thrust towards us. In the case of the Mariachi band that is even less pleasant than it sounds.
That said, a polite "no" and most entrepreneurs will leave you alone.

The food here was pretty average. I had pizza and my husband has the kabob and it was nothing special. There are many restaurants along this road and in the area so I would suggest going somewhere else.

The best meal we had in Athens! Being a picky bunch of eaters we had not all been satisfied with our food so far on the trip but Antica definitely delivered! Amazing service from friendly staff, who also gave us complimentary baklava. In other restaurants we felt rushed but we really felt welcome here in fact we are going back for our last night on holiday

Really good service, iced glasses for beer, extensive good menu and all the food was very good. The souvlaki was really tasty and the banana split dessert was awesome!

Would def come again.
