Worst hotel I've been to, the breakfast was horrible, barely any options. The bathroom is so old and doesn't feel clean, the mattress is uncomfortable, the pillows are so thin and they only put one pillow. The cabinet is so old you feel like it's gonna break apart. You have to take an elevator or stairs from the lobby to a lower level, then walk to another elevator that will take you up to your floor. The staff is rude. The only good thing I can say is that the location was great, other than that it's horrible, I have no idea how it got a high rating on TripAdvisor I'm really surprised.

Excellent, clean, nice and kind employees and a very good location. Normal (but good) breakfast. Seems better than some 4 star I've been in. Close to Syntagma Square and of the main attractions in Athens.

The Cypria is a great hotel for those short term visitors to Athens wanting to see the sights and do a little shopping. Set just off the main Wrmou St shopping district, it's a short walk to the Plaka, Syntagma Square & walking distance to the Acropolis. The rooms were clean, had wifi, air conditioning and well serviced - they even provided toiletries which has been so uncommon for my Greek travels! The staff were super helpful and friendly as well, arranging all transfers and tickets. Highly recommend for anyone needing a few days in Athens in well placed, reasonably priced accommodation. Breakfast is available for a small fee if it's not included as well. Happy travels!

The hotel is in an ideal location. It is just minutes away from Ermou Street, restaurants, shops and cafes. Breakfast was included in the room price. It was good and had quite a few options to choose from. Also a very clean hotel, bed not so comfortable. It is also minutes away from the metro station. A very convenient location..

We had a recently renovated room on the inner court, with a small balcony. No view but so peaceful, especially at night.
The room is clean and with plenty of space to move about. There is also a safe to store your valuables, which is always a plus.

If you don't have it in your deal, breakfast is 10€ pp. It's okay if you are going to take advantage of it massively (I've seen a bit better and a lot worse), otherwise there's a water boiler in the room to make coffees and plenty of bakeries / donuts stands within 5 mins walk to make your own breakfast for 3€ pp...

Only minor negativity, internet worked really slow for us, so if you're there for business and you need to transfer lots of data it might become an issue...

Room Tip: Rooms on the inner court have no view but are really quiet and peaceful.
