Good greek meze, kind staff and prices in line with Chania (pretty cheap). It's placed on one of the best streets for eating out in Chania. Very enjoyable garden.

The street is crowded with restaurants..Mesogiako is a really good choice! Beautiful and quiet garden, very good "meze" and free dessert (as usual). About 30€ for two, with wine included.

We stumbled across this little restaurant down a quiet lane away from the hustle and bustle near the Minaret.A simple no fuss menu with a selection of creative salads. A handful of appetizers and a good selection of mains. They also offered a meal deal with three plates for 30 euro including wine. There was a nice atmosphere with good music and great service. We had one of salads it was fresh and generous. The Rseyfildes spicy fried meat would have been better without the bbq sauce which was overpowering and too much. Great bread and good olive oil and vinegar. Te special Rabbit in saffron was outstanding! served with potatoes, just delicious.

Recommended by a British newspaper, we went to eat "were the locals eat".
Started ok because it was empty. As soon as it got full the only two attends were not enough
Although the waiter was very sympathetic, her English was not good enough to explain the day course ( whole menu was in English) and offered us "wale" instead of "veal".
The salad was good and the hamburger also....
The tenderloin was terrible as well as the "veal" witch got substituted for an awful octopus that smells before it got to the table......
We spent our only night at that town with terrible food..... very disappointed!

A lovely restaurant with a courtyard, much better than the harbour area. Quite and lovely food. We ordered 6 mezzo between four which was to much as the portions are a good size. Would go here again if there wasn't so many other gems to try, love this place.
