We stayed at the Ibis for 2 nights , everything was perfect . The hotel is next to the airport, very well placed. Rooms are clean, big and confortable. A special mention to the excellent breakfast one of the best we took during our stay in Crete.

Like most Ibis Styles hotels, this one has really nice staff who speak many languages. They go out of their way to help you. (We arrived without our luggage, and the desk clerk helped us figure out where to make some emergency purchases. They also delivered our bags when they arrived and informed us of their arrival while we were upstairs in the restaurant.) The hotel is located near a pedestrian shopping area and is a comfortable walk from the archaeological museum. The hotel's restaurant is fine, but, again, the staff make it special. The room was a good size.
This hotel offers many services, and is very clean. It often hosts small conferences as well, so it is ideal if you are attending one. The location is very good, everything is in walking distance. The staff is also friendly and understanding. They offer a free VoIP phone in every room that you can carry with you while walking around the town and call for free or at very low prices.
The hotel is really well located the room spotless clean and the front desk staff really kind. I would specially mention Anna who was great it was my son a birthday and she arrange to bring Greek pastries in our room to make him a surprise without I said anything. The breakfast buffet is a good point to and is made to be Covid free with individuals portions
Great location, nice and spaceous room with balcony. Check-in was fast, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. At night till midnight it was very noisy outside the hotel, but if the windows are closed you could almost not hear it.

The location is the best, walking distance from the city centre, shops and restaurants. The breakfast had a variety of choices and they have chosen a pretty smart way to ensure that you won't be exposed to covid. All the staff were very kind and wearing the masks properly.
Negative incident: we observed that a usual guest without wearing a mask, requested to see the room before staying. The hotel gave him the key and he went upstairs to check the room. Finally he didn't like it so he chose another one. we didn't like the fact that during the covid period, someone could enter to a room (breathing and walking inside the room and maybe touching the interior). This incident gave us the impression of a room not being 100% sanitized.
We consider this incident as an isolated case, because overall he maintain a good impression and we will be back, if we visit heraklion again.
