1. We booked the top floor room with view of the light house for 14 days. It was advertised as having a 'private' terrace. That wasn't true. It had a terrace shared by all visitors to the hotel who could borrow books from a bookshelf outside our door.
2. We had to close ALL the terrace windows every night to shut out the noise from the music and the noisy drunks in the street at 4am.
3. The roof was advertised as having lay out chairs and sun shades. The four chairs were broken and there were NO sunshades. This was the coolest place with a breeze but without shade or somewhere to sit it was only used by smokers as indicated by the very full ash trays which were never emptied.
4. On the positive side, the room was adequate and kept very clean by the housemaid, Josefina. Our stay would have been satisfactory had we been able to use the supposed 'roof garden'.More
