We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour group. The lobby is lovely and the staff very accommodating. The buffet breakfasts were wonderful - such an array of anything you’d want for breakfast with very gracious servers. Dinners were also buffet style and delicious - many popular Greek favorites are available. The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint would be the strong smell of cigarette smoke that seeps through the hallway and into the room. I also found the high bathtub difficult to get in and out of... perhaps safety bars would help as the floor of the tub was rounded adding to the feeling that one would slip going in or out. The location is perfect... safe area and easy access to the city waterfront walk... lots of shops, tourist sights and restaurants close by.

Dear valued guest,
We are very happy that you have had a beautiful experience with us! It is such a pleasure to know that we have met your needs.
We take all your comments under serious consideration and especially those about the cigarette smell and the high bathtubs. We also take the opportunity to inform you that a renovation project will be materialized this summer and the majority of the bathtubs will be replaced by cabins. It is a correct indication and we have faced it many times in the past. Thank you for sharing!
We wish you all the best and we hope to welcome you again in the future.
Warm regards,
Maria Chatziparaschi

The Mediterranean Palace is a beautiful building very close to the sea. The lobby is very nice. The check-in was quick and pleasant. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Soft and hard pillows are available. The mattress is comfortable and is neither too firm nor too soft. TV channels are extremely limited. Out of 17 channels, there is one French, one German, one Spanish and no English channels. The Wi-Fi is free and functions well. The bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs and bidets but not shower cabins. On the sixth floor, the noise from music was extremely loud and unbearable. It went on until late at night. I am not sure where the music was coming from, but I am guessing there is a night club on the roof (7th floor).
The breakfast was rather basic. The selection of fruits and cereals is limited. The pastry, jams, sirops and other types of unhealthy sweets were plentiful. I did not visit the swimming pool, the spa or the gym.

Dear valued guest,
Thank you for your review. It is very detailed and it offers us the opportunity to know your experience with us and also check all those issues that you have mentioned.
It is true that BBC channel is at your disposal, on the other hand it is not good that you didn't manage to find it. We need to check why.
We are happy to inform you that a renovation plan has been implemented and in summer of 2018 we will change the hotel's bathrooms and replace bathtubs with shower cabins.
The breakfast items are constantly improving and we wish to satisfy all guests' preferences. We will note your comments and together with other useful tips from our valued guests, we will improve our breakfast even more with your assistance!
Last but not least, the music you were hearing at night was from a nearby bar and not from the hotel. Thessaloniki is famous for the night life and is a very vivid city. It is in our culture and people enjoy staying out till very late. We have taken all soundproof measures possible, yet we will do our best to re-check all materials during the renovation.
We will be more than happy to welcome you again in the future.
Stay strong and healthy.
Best regards,
Maria Chatziparaschi

Adorante and her colleagues offer a great service in the spa. The perfect place to wind down after tiring meetings.
The spa is the jewel in the crown of this hotel.
Rooms are small, clean and need reburbishing.
Noise from the street prevents sleeping with open windows.
Located right next to a restaurant and bar district.

Dear valued guest,
Your review is very much appreciated and we are certain that you comprehend the value of sharing your opinion. It offers us the opportunity to think over all your comments and discuss new ideas. It also gives us the opportunity to inform you that a refurbishing project is in progress and within the summer of 2018 a significant part of it will be concluded.
Our rooms' size comply with the average size for a hotel in the city center. Further more it has to follow the building's architecture. They are surely not as big as rooms in resorts are.
Thessaloniki is known for its vivid night life, it is a part of our culture. Our hotel is located in the city center and this combination may cause some inconvenience during night sleep. In any case we are all at your entire disposal to relocate you in another room if availability permits it and if you desire to make the change.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again and enjoy the changes in the rooms and other premises.
Best regards,
Maria Chatziparaschi
