This hotel is close to Tivoli gardens and central station, but is very quiet.
I think it's worth it to spring for the larger more decorated room.
The design is amazing and very vibrant.
Breakfast is very nice.
But most importantly, the staff is amazing.
They were all very friendly and engaging, and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing.

The hotel is located less than five minutes from Central Station. We arrived mid day and were allowed into our room right away. It was perfect! We were traveling as friends and received a room with two twin beds. The room was not big, but had plenty of space for each of us. The bathroom was great. The view to the courtyard was wonderful. There were plenty of windows to open for fresh air. The morning breakfast buffet was outstanding! Fresh made yogurt, fruit bowls, hummus, veggies, scrambled eggs, fresh juices, and coffee were available each morning. The front desk staff were always helpful and we really appreciated all their advice. I would stay at this same hotel if I were to travel to Copenhagen again!
There is great value to be found in Absalon Hotel. Nice renovated rooms. In the middle of Copenhagen city close to central station. Very nice and helpful staff.

Travelling solo on a tight schedule you just want everything to work! And here, it does. Everything was like a real, professional hotel, but at a very reasonable cost. Easy to locate, short walk from central station. Warm welcome. Very clean room and nice bathroom. Good bed. I stayed a very warm summer night. No air con, but windows to the backyard could be opened and the temperature was ok. But a noisy bar at the back meant ear plugs are necessary.
Extra points: Takeaway breakfast was prepared on request for next morning, as I had to catch a very early train.
Direct booking was rewarded with a 100 dkk voucher for the bar…
.. and a wonderful feature: Lights under the bed will be automatically activated if you get up for a necessary bathroom visit at night.
All in all, highly recommended.
I like the hotel and i have being there many times, and same with Andersen hotel and I like the servisen
and most off the rooms and I have been så often att theas hotells than i get a god service and prices

Absalon is a hidden gem of a hotel just a few minute walk from the central train station and Tivoli. We stayed with our toddler and they had a crib set up for us waiting in our room. If you book directly with the hotel you get breakfast for free (which is rare in Copenhagen). Bike rentals are available (they even have bike with a child seat on back) and I recommend getting around the city via bike- it's the Danish way! Perfect clean room and friendly staff. I highly recommend.
