We stayed at Urban House, Copenhagen from 13 - 17 March 2020. By the time we left, Copenhagen was pretty much a ghost town for tourists.
The staff at Urban House were great. Very helpful and professional. Despite closing some of their facilities (restaurant), they tried to advise us of alternatives, and also always had a smile. We hope, for the sake of the staff, that they all get through the Covid-19 times, and we wish them all the best, and thank you.More

Unfortunately, I didn’t had the chance to experience this hostel as the situation here in Belgium as for the coronavirus Covid19 is still going on...
The hostel didn’t want to make an effort...
No refunds
No annulment (even though we had to be confined in case of major force )...
My flight has indeed been rebooked, I have reached to booking and they were very understanding and were trying their best to satisfied me but the Hostel wasn’t !!!
Very disappointing!
Hopefully after this situation will clear up, I will be able to visit Copenhagen but I won’t be booking here the customer service wasn’t helpful and mindful of this sad situation going on around the world!
They could have at least give me a voucher or something to make me wanna come back...
This hotel has a great location in Copenhagen. In the centre, next to the train station. You can walk to the canal, shopping district, Trivoli gardens,and all popular locations. We stayed in a room with private bathroom. The room is clean, staff is so friendly and helpful, breakfast is great -except the drinks because tea and coffee are not hot enough and there is no orange flavor in orange juice but there are other alternatives for you. Price is so reasonable. I strongly recommend to stay if you are planning to visit this nice city.

We stayed here with our two children in a private dorm with bathroom. The shower drainage was poor,but overall it was a good stay. There were unfortunately a lot of renovations going on, which meant limited shared relaxing space available, and the kitchen was small for the number of guests in this large building. But it was clean and tidy, and a convenient location. Lockers were available to leave bags on day of departure, but at additional charge which, considering this isn’t a cheap hostel, was a bit unnecessary.

Ok, not too much to complain about except that luggage storage is not adequate for multiple large bags and they charge by the hour, not per day! Strictly no checkin till 3pm so don't bother turning up early. While we stayed there, our toilet blocked and also the toilets downstairs blocked. Its incredibly noisy in bar/cafe area, also some strip clubs on the same street so Saturday nights can be noisy outside too. Room was on 2nd floor, right at the other end of street...room was clean and size was good. Kitchen area always crowded and not enough seating area...lots of free food on offer which was good. Very close to Central station which was very convenient and pretty central to most sites, easily accessible by foot.

Location is good for the money, rooms are big enough for luggage, they are very clean and toiletries provided (shampoo, shower gel).
Hairdryer provided!!!
Lockers to keep your luggage are available for 50dkk per day.
Needs some improvement but I enjoyed my stay.
There was a leak in the kitchen, for over 2 hours the water was running from the ceiling to the floor.
There was not enough common space for everyone in the kitchen, not enough mugs and cups. Also the lounges, chilling places were being refurbished so less places for people to relax. The breakfast was very poor. Staff could be a bit more friendly.
