This B&B is situated about a 5-10 minute drive from Alton Towers in a stunning little village. We had the good fortune to be allocated room 3 which has a balcony overlooking the rear garden (which is beautifully kept) and on into the fields.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, very bright and sunny, with a very clean en suite bathroom. The only downside is there is almost zero water pressure in the shower which makes rinsing longish hair a bit of a nightmare. However, this is my ONLY gripe about this establishment.
The owner is very polite, but not overly chatty (which can sometimes be a plus point) so you have your own space to do your own thing. We stayed for 2 nights, and had a great breakfast both mornings and a good nights sleep both nights.
On the whole, I would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back the next time I'm heading to Alton Towers.
