The building is from the 1930's and is a great example of Scandinavian clean functionalism, what in Swedish is referred to as "funkis". Just visiting the building is a treat, and to catch one of the concerts by Helsingborg's symphonic orchestra can make the rainiest day a happy one.

Have been here many times and never dissapointed with the entertainment quality. Nice and modern premises. Both the big and the small halls are nice for different audience. The only thing we could complain about is the crowded cafe during the pauses.

Old Concert house with pretty good acustic considering how old the place is! Needs a "turn over" rather soon!

Going to Konserthuset mostly means that you go there for a performance of some sort. The house itself is a nice 40-50 style and interesting for those into architecture, but otherwise your experience will depend on the nature of the performance you are watching. Hopefully it will be a good one. Ours definitely was!
There are refreshments served before the performance and in the event of an intermission. Prices are mid-ranged for this kind of place.
