Good food served by distracted staff.
Had a three course dinner that came with a flavoring range from cucumber sauce to line curd. Pretty good selection of price worthy wines made it worth the wait, even tough extremely long time in between the courses...

We have re-visited Hava Skafferi § Salonger during this summer, coming here several times for lunch. We tasted various fish dishes and they were excellent. For example, today the oven-baked pollock with fennel, pickled carrots, white wine sauce and boiled potatoes was very gently prepared and delicious.

It was pleasant to sit in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and the gentle Swedish summer weather. The staff was very polite, the prices affordable.

After five visits we came to the conclusion that Hava Skafferi § Salonger is one of the best restaurants in Uppsala, both for lunch and for dinner.

Terrific food and service in an elegant but unpretentious space along the pedestrian street not far from the Linnaean house. Roast lamb dish with potatoes and mushroom sauce was delectable; menu has a wide variety of other offerings including seafood. This place has some of the best food on offer in Uppsala - yet served in a casual, friendly bistro setting. Good wine list as well. Recommended!

We had a very pleasant dinner in the upstairs saloon of the restaurant. Different fish dishes, such as confit cod, grilled trout and baked halibut. All our four dishes were very gently prepared, properly spiced, excellent taste.

The staff was polite and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really cosy.

We plan to re-visit Hava, because this is one of the best (or the best?) fish restaurants in Uppsala.

We went to Hava and had the dagenslunch. We both chose the steamed codfish with a sauce full of crispy bacon bits. The meal, as in most places, includes a salad, bread and coffee or tea. The food was good, although my companion thought the portions were on the small side. The price of 95 SEK was very reasonable. Diners pick up their food and bring it to their table, but the place does not seem to have any trays, which would have made the carrying of the plate, salad, silverware, glasses, etc. easier. Worth a visit.
