Cosy small gem in Helsinki. Romantic. Staff is very friendly and the small dishes tasty. In the summertime you can sit outside and when it's getting cooler take a seat inside.

After a tiring stroll around the parks and beach, STOP here! Hot chocolate is awesome, a must try. Coffee and cakes are amazingly delicious when you’re having them on the beach with the sea breeze. There’s a small open fire place outside the café where you can sit and drink or you can sit inside the tiny cozy café and chat with strangers. There is a notebook inside the café that welcomes visitors to write a word or two of their visits so don’t forget to contribute a few words for this little red hut to keep.

Great place to go for a mulled wine and some pie. Really cozy and friendly is the best place to get something warm during a cold winter day. It's located in a typical wooden house near by the lake, they also have a terrace to do bbq outside. A place you need to see in Helsinki!

We stopped off at this lovely little cafe after visiting the Sibelius Monument close by. The hot chocolate is delicious! We were told the cafe looks like the Finnish dream of a little red house with a potato field near by and it certainly lived up to that. Inside, it is warm and cosy with an eclectic mix of decorations and pictures of the cafe in different seaons. There is literally only room for about 15 people at the very most inside but we loved sitting at the old wooden tables rubbing shoulders with locals and tourists! Outside there is more space to sit and a log burner to keep out the chill. Well worth a visit.

Me and my friend both loved this café, the interior/exterior decoration was adorable and it felt as if we stepped into a fairytale.
It's all about the atmosphere here though, don't expect too much of their food! Although it's decent, you know it's a very touristy place.
