We stayed for one night on our way out to the countryside and two nights on our way back home. We booked the trip as part of a tour package so were surprised that on our return we were given a smaller and less well equipped room than on our way out. The first time we had sitting space, a good size shower and good storage facilities. The second time there was no space to sit except on the bed or crushed at the desk, the shower room was tiny, as was the shower cubicle and the towels were worn and frayed at the edges. This hotel seems to have a lot of large groups who stay for one or two nights only and it has the atmosphere of a hostel, albeit an upmarket one. The breakfast buffet was adequate but varied in quality of choice from day to day. The location, however, is really convenient for all sights and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed and we were not disturbed by noise from other guests. All in all, it was ok, but nothing special.
