This hotel was in the center of downtown right by all the shops and restorants. The rooms were comfy and very clean. The staff was very friendly. And had an excelent breakfast. Would highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Daily breakfast very good and handy before excursions. If a light sleeper, forego the view of City Center and ask for a non-front room. Thurs, Fri, & Sat nights are exciting in downtown EVERY week until the wee hours. But, if in town to experience Reykjavik... wonderful location in every way. Afram Island to Russia World Cup 2018!

Fir this price, I would expect more.
The location is on a very busy square, full of bars and restaurants and rooms are far from being sound - proof.
There is adequate variety in breakfast items, but their quality could have been much better.

This hotel has a Suberin location centrally near the main shopping street, cafes, bars, and close to the old harbour and the Harpa concert hall. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offers a good selection but they could improve the coffee and have it go until 11am. The rooms can be noisy at night from street noise. Bring ear plugs. They offer free loud gage storage if returning there but you don't need all your bags for a short trip.

I was only in Reykjavik one night and traveling solo so my needs were very simple: clean, secure, comfortable and convenient. The staff were quite kind, the room was spotless and quiet. The hotel fronts the City Center Square and is nicely located for activities downtown.

Room Tip: Rooms with windows at the back of the hotel open to an occasionally noisy walkway.
