The apartments are located a short (10-15 minute) walk to Reykjavik centre. The staff are really friendly and helpful - the apartment we rented was clean and smart and the beds really comfortable. There is loads of free parking nearby. We stayed for five days - great value and highly recommended.

A few blocks from downtown Reykjavik. We had to check in late, and the owners were extremely communicative and worked with us and our schedule. Amazing customer service and excellent accommodations. Highly recommended!

Iceland is expensive, but this proved to be a well-situated and reasonably priced base in Reykjavik. We were 15 mins from bus terminal or city centre on foot. It was also a short walk to supermarkets (Bonus, Kronan and Netto) - essential for Icelandic survival! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Although reception is only staffed periodically, staff were available via email throughout our stay and provided us with an Icelandic sim and handset, so we could contact them at any time if needed. On top of this, the apartment was really quite beautiful and well furnished. We had a great holiday in Reykjavik, having the right apartment gave us the foundation to do all the things you'd want to do in Iceland (Northern Lights, Golden Circle, party, eat fermented shark! etc). Recommend visiting this city, country and staying at Kerno!

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. The booking and check-in procedure was easy - the managers sent detailed instructions as we were to arrive after the check-in desk closed and we were leaving in the early hours of the morning. Our apartment was spacious, conveniently located for a quick walk to the main shops and sights of Reykjavik and quiet, despite the building's location on a main road (earplugs are provided anyway).

The apartment contains a bed, seating area for the TV, a dining table and kitchen with everything we needed for a brief stay, plus a balcony with outdoor seating for the warmer months! Food in Iceland is extremely expensive so we were glad to have facilities to cook for ourselves.

The room is cleaned and the towels are replaced every other day, which is often enough. An information book is provided with the locations and opening times of nearby shops, which is very useful. There is also a mobile phone with some credit in case you need to make local calls - a very nice touch.

The apartments are also a location from which all the major tour companies offer free pick-ups, including to/from the airport, which is also very handy as getting to the bus station with bags would have been difficult.

Overall this was an excellent stay, our friends recommended it to us and we will recommend it to others.

Renting an apartment was definitely cheaper than a hotel. It was a great experience. Our key and welcome instructions were waiting for us. The apartment for three was one bedroom and a bed in the living room, a small balcony, kitchen/kitchen table and bathroom. Towels were exchanged every other day and there was free Wifi , a TV (plenty of English channels), coffee pot, phone for local calls, and two parking spaces in the back (one night the parking was filled but parking very available on the street). The husband/wife manager were very friendly. The apartment was only a 10 minute walk into town which we did very night as we ate out at the local restaurants. For lunches/breakfasts we ate in or made our sandwiches that we took on our daily road trips. Overall, Iceland was fantastic and the apartment was part of it.
