An interesting museum with a lot of history. Nice staff and we had a friendly tour. Good to do in a hour. Very impressive to see and experience.

We spent an amazing couple of hours here, reliving some extraordinary history. The place was incredible and not wanting to spoil it, the history of how it came about and how it was kept secret is fascinating. However, the thing that really brought it to life was the staff. The 2 ladies on reception were extremely friendly and helpful and the 2 guides, Ruben and Craig, had immense knowledge and passion and were very happy to answer all sorts of questions. They made the trip very worthwhile and I can highly recommend you visit and immerse yourself into the history of this amazing place

We visited Valetta at the end of April 2018 and I've been meaning to write a review since I got back. The Lascaris War rooms is really worth a visit. You must join one of the guided tours to get the full benefit. Our guide was Stefan and his enthusiasm for his subject was infectious. If you have any interest in history at all and, probably, even if you don't, then don't miss out on this attraction.

A tour is included in the entry price, and I would only recommend visiting if you are going to take the tour - you will have no idea what you are looking at otherwise. Our guide, Steve, was excellent and clearly very knowledgeable. He explained Malta's involvement in WWII and how the war rooms were used to conduct the defence effort.

Definitely one of the most interesting things we saw in Valletta.

I have long been a student of Maltese history and of World War II, and I have never experienced a more knowledgeable or compelling presentation than at the Lescaris War Rooms. With me were my 76 year old father, my wife, and our two teenage kids. Everyone loved the experience. Our tour guide explained Malta's role in disrupting Rommel's supply line to North Africa, the air battle over Malta, and the Allied invasion of Sicily. We almost skipped the war rooms. And I'm so glad we didn't end up doing so.
