I am a half glass full type of person so took the previous negative reviews for this complex with a pinch of salt and thought I would make up my own mind up. I apologize to my fellow reviewers for my lack of faith in your judgement. You were all correct.
Cleanliness of rooms is poor. Our room was not cleaned throughout our 5 day stay. Towels are hard to come by and not replaced when asked.I did not use the pool as it was not treated or cleaned whilst we were visiting. There were stains on furniture, shower curtain was mouldy, surfaces and floor not clean and bedding likewise.
Location-do not believe this is anywhere near the city centre - it is 35/40min walk and buses do not go here - you have to go out to the main road (15/20 min walk) to get a bus into town. You are in an isolated spot with nothing around you.it is an area under development - lots of building construction with lack of transport links or facilities.
Facilities: There are none. The gym is poorly equipped with very outdated equipment that is broken and unsafe and only access is through the 'restaurant'. You have a tiny shop on site which charges double the price to anywhere else - there is a 24 hr mini market with helpful staff 15/20min walk on way to Paphos Centre which is much cheaper and bigger.
Food: was also very poor. Breakfast was pitiful and dinner in the evening lacking, a road side cafe provides better, there were never enough clean plates or crockery and only way to eat cereal for guests was in a half pint plastic cup. The restaurant staff were friendly though and welcoming, unlike reception staff. I was greeted with apathy when airing my concerns on a daily basis and improvements promised did not take place. In the end I gave up as I wanted to make the most of my stay and was determined to to do this.
If you are planning on staying here make sure you bring your own towels, books, entertainment and if arriving late eat before you get here. The bar (more of a small counter) ran out of draft beer regularly, had limited selection of drinks and closes at midnight.
WiFi- this was something we were fortunate with- we stayed in Emily House on ground floor and had good WiFi in our room ( I was able to use face time/viber/wassap to make international calls). Unfortunately most other guests struggled with this.
