Basic accomodation in a good position for the tombs of the kings road.
We had a 1 bed apt which was spacious and clean
Towels and bedding were changed once during our 1 week stay.
The staff were all helpful and friendly.

First apartment allocated - toilet did not flush. They moved us straight away but I wouldn't say the second one was exactly clean. Inside of oven rusty, all taps plus bath, sink covered in lime scale. No tea towel available. No plug in kitchenette sink. No glasses to drink from. As luck would have it the weather was great and we hardly spent any time in the apartment - otherwise I might have gone down to one star! Hot water supply to shower erratic at best. On day 2 the pest control man came to see to the cockroaches....

Room Tip: Higher floors mean you don't get the chair scraping noises from the unit above

We went here for a week back in October, our apartment was very spacious , very clean but a little out dated. The pool was freezing as it was October, but our kids didn’t seem to mind. What we enjoyed most about this hotel was the lovely staff, they couldn’t do enough for us, we spent many hours talking to Gemma and nikos at the bar, Elaina the cook was great to chat to aswell, she adored our baby even going out of her way to make a chicken noodle soup one lunch time for him. When we left she cried , we will definitely be going back as we were shown such kindness and hospitality. Thank you so much for helping us all enjoy a very special family holiday

We had booked Daphne apartments, but they were double booked! We complained to Expedia and got mney back and a voucher for further bookings. This was cheaper than the Daphne and not in the location we wanted. There were a few niggles. Fire safety was not quite up to scratch. Although we had what appeared to be a smoke alarm it had no reassuring light that reasured us that it might work. It was not sited at the highest point in the room. All doors in the only escape area that I believe were fire doors were wedged open and after I removed the wedges some would not stay closed. The next morning some had been re-wedged open. There was potentially combustible materials in the escape route. Bizarrely there was a notice on the back of the door saying to, 'Act Quietly' if there was a fire! In the breakfast room there was a modern fire escape door, but I'm not sure that a table and chairs should be blocking it. The lift was not working and we wondered about the honesty of the hotel that allows a maid to push a supermarket trolley round the ground floor with all her sheets and cleaning products in it. The fridge was noisy and when I got up in the night to switch it off, it started to sound irritatingly like a dripping tap. My husband managed to rectify this by angling the fridge at about 30 degree angle to the wall. There was street noise just after 5am that sounded like bins being emptied with a bleeping rubbish truck. A lot of the crockery seemed to be missing. We only had one wine glass. There was no tea towel. The staff were very friendly. The bed sheet was just a bit too small and would not tuck in so bring some strong safety pins if you don't like the sheets bunching up to expose the mattress.
