We stayed here for 11 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff are so friendly and attentive to your needs nothing is too much trouble for them. Food was of high standard and good variety. All areas and rooms were always very clean.
Our daughter went to kids club everyday but the variety of activities could be better esp in the evening as it was mini disco every night with the same songs(!) We would stay here again.
A lovely 20 mins stroll along the harbour and you're in the town.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and that our staff, food and cleanliness met with your expectations.

Your suggestion for kids activities and mini disco are also appreciated, which we are sure No Stress Entertainment will take into consideration.

Hopefully, we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to the Louis Imperial Beach soon.

This hotel delivers good value money. My wife, my son aged (7) and I stopped at this hotel from the 9th - 16th of August and had a lovely holiday. The hotel service is top class with all the staff representing the Louis and tui brand well. The staff are all hardworking and all seem to have good intent. Upon arrival we were issued with a welcoming smile and drinks, complimented with some light Cypriot delicacies. We arrived late at night and were very pleased with the sandwiches and drinks that were left in our room due to the restaurant was already shut.
We had a nice sea view room which was very spacious and comfy beds. The room was cleaned everyday to an immaculate standard and the fridge topped up daily with fresh bottled water. The hotel overall is very clean and well maintained given the hotel is getting on a bit in age. There are 3 pool areas with lifeguards on duty and ample lush gardens to relax in. The entertainment guys are awesome with each day having plenty to do if you want to keep your body or mind active, special thanks to Mario and Louis who always made a fuss of my little one. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice even for fussy eaters like me. They even have a little food area that my son enjoyed for kids. If you book in advance when you get there, you can also use the A-la carte asian restaurant which was my wife's favourite. You don't have to wait at the bar for drinks, the staff come and asked you what you want and bring it over (5 star service) which is excellent when your chilling in the sun whether by the pool or on the beach. The spirits and drinks are locally produced and good quality. The hotel is located about 25-30 minutes slow walk to the harbour where there are ample bars, restaurants and shops to explore . Taxi to harbour or back if you feeling lazy is 8-10 euro. We visited the kings mall which was ok if you want a few hours away from the heat. There are plenty of taxis, so easy to get around Cyprus or you can even hire a car. The path by the beach along to the harbour from the hotel is exceptionally kept, making it easy for pushchairs or wheelchairs and the lighting at night is lovely. Even though we checked out at 12.00 and the tui coach does not pick us up until 20.00, we were still allowed to use the all inclusive passes which was a nice gesture given we was not able to use on our first day due to late arrival. If your coach does not pick you up till late, you can use a room for freshening up free of charge for 30 minutes. You can book a late check out but this is at the rate of 70 Euro. The safe hire is 3 Euro a day. The hotel has a private sandy/ rocky beach with sun beds and next to the beach is a water sports place which is not part of the hotel. The hotel is rated 4 star which is well deserved and reflected in the price. There are lots of opportunities to turn this hotel into a 5 star hotel if the hotel chooses this route. Overall we are very happy with our family stay at the imperial beach hotel in Paphos Cyprus. My holiday was booked with tui.

This is very much a family hotel.

Pools
There are 2 pools. The big beautiful pool with palm trees shown in the photos looks very different in the day - this in the ‘activity’ pool. What the photos don’t demonstrate is that it is a ‘party’ pool. There is loud music booming on speakers, pool volleyball, kids splashing and the whole area is extremely busy.
The second outside pool, which looks like a simple length pool, was sold to us where you go if you want to relax or swim lengths, and is ‘recommended for adults’. We stayed solely on this half of the resort, and although you cannot hear the music on this side of the resort, it is NOT adults only.
We tried our best efforts to stay away from children splashing, but we were constantly victims to books being ruined and kids diving in the pool, with no parent supervision or interference from the lifeguard.
The drinks service by the pool was wonderful however, and we were constantly looked after and offered drinks on the sunbeds, without having to move.

There is one inside pool, this was freezing, but some may like this to get out of the sun and cool off! This is meant for adults only. There was also an inside jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which you can use for free. The jacuzzi wasn’t heated, but was still nice and relaxing. We were the only ones in there every time we went in - I don’t think people realised it was for free without a spa treatment.

Food
The food and the food times were very accommodating. It’s good for picky eaters and children as there’s lots of choice. The ‘Amoroza buffet restaurant’ is the main restaurant. On holiday we normally like to make a bit of an effort at dinner, and although a dress code is stated, it is not enforced.

The ‘Avra coffee shop’, is just the buffet restaurant sectioned off in-between the main dinner times. Between 10-12pm you can go here for a later breakfast, it serves some pastries, meats, yoghurts and cakes. The main breakfast is your typical buffet breakfast, serving cooked breakfast, pancakes, sometimes waffles, pastries etc. Lunch had just as much selection as dinner, which was wonderful and the snack bar available in-between. I cannot fault the food at all, it was probably the best feature of the hotel!

Room
Upon arrival of our room, we noticed it was a lot smaller and simpler than shown in photographs, and very dated. The furnishes had been worn down and the bed was smaller than my one at home. Usually double beds are two twin beds pushed together, which was the case in some of the other rooms we passed, but not ours, showing an inconsistency between rooms.
We checked the photo advertised for a double room online, and in the photo it is two twin beds pushed together, again this felt like misleading advertising.
The room also didn’t feel clean, we had huge clumps of hair stuck to the shower walls, and on the floor and stains on the towels. It wasn’t nice that on arrival we had to carefully check our bed to make sure it was clean, and clean the bathroom ourselves.
Shampoo, conditioner and shower gels were also not provided in our room, and you only get a bar of soap and some cheap combined gel dispenser on the wall - so bring your own!

Customer service
Bar staff and reception were friendly, and in the gift shop, however the restaurant staff were biased to those they thought they would get more tips from. I travelled with my sister for a week get away, and once they had given us our initial drinks, we didn’t see the waiters again or get the friendly chit chat. One night the lady came over to start taking our drinks and then stopped to go to the family behind us first, even though they arrived after us, which was quite frankly very rude and degrading. Initially we thought the customer service in the restaurant was just not a high standard, which seemed contrasting to the reviews we had seen on here, until we observed and saw how they took much attention to bigger parties and families. If we had travelled with grandparents for example, it would have been a different case.

Overall
Although this hotel was nice enough, it wasn’t what we expected and not on the same standard as previous TUI holidays, for the same rating and price. I think a lot of what is shown online isn’t a fair representation of what the hotel really looks like. It is very dated, and as expected in summer it is very busy, but unlike other hotels I’ve been to it did not feel like the 4 star ‘standard’ was enforced and we will not be going back. This was my second TUI holiday this summer and although this was more money than the previous one, as expected for August, it was far inferior, for hotels of the same ratings.
The location is nice, and my advice would be to choose one of the other hotels along the beach if you would like to experience Paphos, as the sunsets are beautiful on the beach, and it’s not far into the harbour and the town, with easy bus routes from the hotels.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for staying at the Louis Imperial Beach.

We are pleased that you thought the hotel was nice, but also saddened that it did not meet with your expectations on the whole.

Your comments on the pool facilities and those aspects which you felt could change or improve have been made note of for consideration.

The quiet pool, is as you say "recommended for adults". This means that it is quieter and children are only allowed there if accompanied by an adult. No games or Lilos are allowed.

As for your observations on the rooms, please know that we have different room types which require a different layout of furniture in order to accommodate our guests. This is because all our rooms are the same size.

It is surprising that you found our highly praised service, lacking, especially in the restaurant and truly wish we had known of the issues you were facing during meals, as well as those at the pool, while you were with us.

Our management team are here to control and rectify issues, to give our guests the best possible holiday experience while catering for everyone. Perhaps we could suggest a stay at one of our other Louis Hotels, in Cyprus or Greece, out of school vacations, for a quieter holiday.

Kind regards,

I stayed here with my partner, 2 children 13 & 8 and my Mam and Dad for 11 nights arriving late on the 4/8/18, on arrival we got offered a drink and check in was very quick and smooth, when we got to our room 3rd floor there were 3 plates with sandwiches and crisps on - a lovely touch. The rooms where cleaned daily and the maid left either a towel made in to a animal or arranged my son’s teddy’s with ribbon around them one day we also got a jar of glazed cherries. The mini fridge was restocked daily with water, Pepsi and 7up.

We got up half 8 the next morning went down for breakfast which was brilliant in fact all food was lovely and suited all family members, the only down part of getting up late was there wasn’t a sunbed to be had around the pools so I sent my partner and eldest child on a hunt for a few beds, which they found, but not one spare parasol to be seen but when the lifeguard came on duty at 10 he went and got us a brand new one out - yet again another great point for the hotels service. After this me and my Mam took it in turns to get up at 5.30/6 to get a sunbed (yes I know this sounds a little crazy but in my books if you can’t beat them join them).

Loved the quieter pool (no inflatable, toys, jumping in aloud although some people can’t seem to read the massive notice with this information on) but the lifeguard was brilliant at going his job, hated the bigger pool as is was just crazy busy all day. The No stress entertainment were brilliant, didn’t badger you to get involved with the daily activities, brought a quiz around every morning which was fun to do.

All in all had a brilliant holiday here from start to finishes and all staff especially the bar staff are amazing and do a brilliant job. Thank you for making our holiday one to remember.

First, but definitely not last, visit to Cyprus. Louis Imperial Beach is a touch of luxury in a haven of peace. Rooms are large, clean and modern looking with beautiful views of the ocean. The restaurant offers an extremely wide choice of delicious food with show cooking and a different theme each lunch and dinner time all presented and cooked to high standard and the Japanese restaurant is a 'must visit'. There are plenty of sun beds available either around the pools, the grassed area or on the very small rocky beach all serviced by very hard working staff who work tirelessly all day providing guests with drinks. All staff work extremely hard to ensure guests have a wonderful holiday - as relaxing or busy as needed. Lots of activities during the day but we were disappointed with the lack of quality evening entertainment so we ventured into the harbour most evenings which is a pleasant 40 min stroll along the sea front (needed after consuming so much food!) where you can enjoy street entertainment, cafes, shops etc. Bus services are regular and cheap, a 5 euro day ticket will allow you to bus hop - Old Paphos town, The Tomb Of Kings and Coral Bay are amazing. There are some lovely informative excursions offered by Tui if you want to experience more traditional Cyprus. Would definitely return to this superb hotel if we returned to Paphos again and we are already looking at other hotels in the 'Louis' chain for a holiday in other areas of Cyprus and Greece. Thank you everyone at Louis Imperial Beach!
