We spent a week here for a skiing holiday. We have skied in Andorra before, so we knew the area. We decided to book El Bringue, knowing that the location would necessitate a car, but wanted a nice hotel to suit our purposes.
We were more than pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel. The reception, lounge and dining area were beautifully furnished and decorated. There was a feeling a style and luxury, yet staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived after 2 am, yet the night manager was bright and cheerful and helped us to locate the free parking on the opposite side of the road. There are a few spaces at the front, but these were usually taken.
The rooms were of a similar standard. They were spacious and comfortable, tastefully decorated and regularly cleaned. My only criticism was that the lighting in the main area was a bit too subtle. The bathroom was spacious and well lit, with a good shower and plenty of hot water. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, which was a decent one.
We used the pool and the gym. The games room has a table tennis table and a soft play/ball pool area.
Now onto the food: the breakfast is buffet style with a good range of hot and cold food, including fresh pastries. The coffee from the bean to cup machine was good quality. Dinner was a more formal affair, although many people dressed casually. It was table d'hôte with three choices for starter and main. There were also canapés served first then a list of about five desserts read by the waitress. The children's menu served proper food with about seven choices. The food was classy, but the portions were also good sized and we felt that they were cooked to order and very fresh and delicious.
This hotel was comfortable, good value for money and a great place to relax in after a day in the slopes. I would recommend you give it a try.

Stopped in for 2 nights on a hiking trip.
GM seemed disinterested, never raised a smile. Despite being nearly empty , couldn't find us a room with a view, or a double bed , or hot water. Somewhere else next time!

I was a bit unsure when booking this hotel as the reviews seemed so sporadic and variable; however me and my boyfriend got a deal with eastjet and booked for January 2016. We had a lot of travelling to get to Andorra but would thoroughly recommend both easy jet and Novatel Transfers in getting us there! The hotel is incredible and I can barely fault it al all!!!! The staff were lovely and so helpful, the room was bliss with heated floors and a plush bed! Our views were breathtaking and El Serrat is great for hiking or just exploring. The food in the hotel is probably the best I have ever had (we were half board), except for the last night which was disappointing (maybe due to the fact there was a large ski party there?).
We did a lot of travelling around Andorra and the buses are great and very cheap (around $2.00 for most journeys). The capital is fun for shopping but not really my thing. The highlight of the holiday was Naturlandia in La Rabassa as we got to see brown bears and wolves and went on a brilliant toboggan (5 times..)!
I should however mention there are practically no shops in El Serrat, which was great for us but might not be for everyone.
Overall, a wonderful hotel!! I would love to go back one day!

Room Tip: Would recommend top floors and definitely half board.

Gorgeous modern all-white bar here, great service from a lovely bar-tender, perfect place for an aprés ski drink. Gorgeous view from the terrace... Reception area is stunning also, a highly stylised room. As I was staying in a local xalet, I didn't get to see the rooms, but I have no doubt they will be as stunning as the bar and reception area.
