Pros: 15min walk to city center, cheap, simple, clean room

Cons: entrance is a little scary. Dark hallway and staircase into a apartment house, dirty and a little smelly as apartment houses can be, hard to find reception. Room is clean but some things are of lower standard. Main window could not be opened, curtain could not be shut fully. At least they fixed shower for next day so I had hot water running.

Sum: average or sub-average, but survivable :-)

It's more an hostel than a hotel, the access is by card and the reception open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Perfect location for city break with basic comfort. Rooms and bathroom are clean and staff are pleasant and helpful. Nearby is tram station but can walk 15 mjn to down town . I have a pleasant stay and I hope return.

Room Tip: rooms with main street view are a little noise.

In the reservation confirmation (email) it said the reception would be open from 8 till 18. That turned out to be wrong!
You can't get into the building from 11 till 14 at all unless you already have a key. Would have been nice to know that fact before!
Telling the lady at the reception that they should change this misleading information didn't do any good. She didn't really listen and only meant nobody ever complained about the opening hours before.
In the summer months the rooms are way too hot - not even a fan was in my room.
I won't be coming back!

This hotel offers the basics that you seek in a capital city. Relatively well located, the cleanliness is decent.
Free WiFi, but no fridges in all the rooms.
Modern meets old Viennese building, but the breakfast is nothing special.

The entrance to the pension is shared with some private apartments and back entrance of the restaurant, so it was a bit dinghy. Once you get to the pension floor a floor up, it's really nice. The room was clean and wifi easy to access. The location is good. There are coffee shops, bakeries and Spur convenience store nearby, Public transportation from here is easy. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant!
