Just walking by it, have been many times and is always worth a visit, this time i did not as you gave to have a mask all time due to covid and looked a bit crowded. Modrran art and more. Tickets are 14 euros.

Design lab was very interesting, however, on the upper two floors there was nothing special to be seen apart from lots of carpets, and chairs, and more chairs, and a bit more chairs.
I was there with my brother. The building is designed nice and it has many rooms. But I am not fan of modern art. Most of the works are modern.
Superb building by the versatile 19C architect Heinrich von Ferstel; exquisite collections of Persian and Turkish carpets, East Asian ceramics and statuary, and European furniture, especially from the Secession. But the curating is distracting and pretentious: small items are dumped on the floor rather than exhibited at eye-level, while captions are absent or limited or presented in elaborately contrived ways. The management should show their collections more respect, rather than using them as occasions for curatorial theatrics.
Arts and crafts fans will love here but the highlight for us was the absolutely stunningly beautiful building, a sight to behold. The gift shop was worth a visit even if you have had your fill of museums... there are a lot in Vienna. Enjoyed the chair exhibits also. Lovely area to sit and soak up the atmosphere and nice cafe with a great buzz.
Heard about it on the big bus tour had not planned to visit but glad we did.
a very nice art and craft museum near the stadppark. it is has alot of comtempary art pieces and very informative.
