Clean rooms and attentive service. This hotel is 5 minutes walk to train station (and the train system is excellent). Close to the Vienna markets and also amenities. Ask for a room with a view of the courtyard, very nice indeed!

This hotel is great for exploring the city. We had a double ensuite, very clean, very comfortable king size bed, very helpful and lively staff. We found it ideal just outside the centre, about a 10 minute walk to the centre through the most vibrant and colourful market, opposite which is a beautifully painted apartment building where Wagner once lived. We walked to the Museum Cafe for breakfast, then travelled the city on a Vienna card hop on and off lines of buses to all the best sites of the city. Well worth the money as it works out cheapest form of transport.Of course plenty of walking too but something to see everywhere. Mozart Cafe is a must for coffee and cake, although you get an excellent lunch for 12 euros including wine!!. Fantastic city break , a must if you like music and history.

Room Tip: If anyone has a problem or disability they go out of the way to help your stay a good one

We had booked a superior room but seemed to get upgraded to a junior suite. The room had a small seating area separated by a part wall between it and the bed area. The room was very comfortable and clean and good to relax in between daytime sight seeing and evening meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from central vienna or a six minute walk to the nearest underground and the Naschmarkt. It is in a quiet area but with lots of restaurants / bars within 5 minutes walk. We didnt try turning left out of the front door til our last night and realised we had missed a lot. Overall a very pleasant stay

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. The hotel is very nice with almost 50 rooms. If you walk straight you reach the city in 15 mins with many cafes in the route. From the train station its almost 10-12 mins drive and the taxi takes 12 euros almost.
The nearest train station is kettenbrucke which is at a 10 mins walk. From there you need to go to karlsplatz to change line in order to take you to stephansplatz( the city centre). Its better to walk to the centre rather than taking train as it takes almost the same time.
The hotel is in a good location considering Vienna is such a big city. The staff is very kind and courteous. The prices are affordable.
There is mini bar and iron facility available in the rooms. We were given a quiet room on the other side of the street. The rooms are neat and very clean.
A very nice choice to stay in Vienna.

From the moment you check, this quaint, very personal Holiday Inn is the perfect location to explore the gem which is Vienna.

The space is small and compact and yet stylish and welcoming.

The breakfast, as other reviewers have said, is well thought and welcome every morning.

The bar man on duty was the only disappointment - he seemed to find it difficult to serve more than one customer at a time so I gave up in the end but, apart from that, full marks all round for a wonderful Vieniese base,

Room Tip: Garden Rooms, if available, are very nice
